Welcome Guests!

Ken Blanchard, renowned speaker, author and consultant stated:

None of us is as smart as all of us.

What could this mean?  Well, it can be interpreted and applied numerous ways.  In this instance, consider what it could mean when it comes to being members of the Long Island Speakers Toastmasters club.

Toastmasters International notes:

The mission of a Toastmasters club is to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth.

As club members, we all have great talents to share and opportunities for improvement we seek to recognize and amend.  The beauty of it all is our willingness to assist one another in achieving our individual and collective goals.  Isn’t that great?

Rather than having no-one (i.e.: “none”) to help you achieve and even exceed your goals, choose to visit and join the Long Island Speakers Club – a dynamic collective of members seeking to improve their communication and leadership skills.

Sincerely,

The Long Island Speakers Club

The Long Island Speakers Club welcomes guests to all meetings and encourages everyone to become a member.

Upon joining a Toastmasters club, each new member receives a variety of resources on speaking, communication and leadership.  Members also receive the award-winning monthly magazine, The Toastmaster, which offers the latest insights on speaking and leadership techniques.
